There are a lot of different kinds of cereals out there. Marshmallows, chocolate, fruits, nuts, raisins....

How can you decide? Do you go for the one with more sugar or because you like the tiger or honeybee or leprechaun? Do you choose because of nutritional value?

Diversity is a name in the game of life. In years past, the pattern of life stayed very much the same. If you were born into the family of farmers, you were a farmer and it was the same of most professions in life. There was very little diversity in the home, the man was the bread winner and the head of the home.

I was recently in a situation where multiple relatives were watching more than one television, and the programming varied on each set.

One was watching Fox News, the other, CNN.

There’s been irritation aplenty between these folks. They love each other but, man, when politics come up, I just want to leave the room.
