Clergy Corner: When there as so many different Christian churches, how do I choose?

There are a lot of different kinds of cereals out there. Marshmallows, chocolate, fruits, nuts, raisins....

How can you decide? Do you go for the one with more sugar or because you like the tiger or honeybee or leprechaun? Do you choose because of nutritional value?

Geiger Counter

Virtual school is doing an amazing job preparing my daughter for adult life in the modern workforce. She wakes up, spends most of the day staring at a screen, then shuts it off with a sigh. Her eyes are bleary, her mind is blank, her expression is dull. Her psyche is uncharacteristically raw and tender.

Take Time Diversity

Diversity is a name in the game of life. In years past, the pattern of life stayed very much the same. If you were born into the family of farmers, you were a farmer and it was the same of most professions in life. Letter: Good reason to be scared

I am scared. People I know and love have lost their jobs due to the economic collapse and thus lost their health insurance for themselves and their families during a raging pandemic.

Letter: Signs should not divide us

A friend recently asked me to envision my community, Reedsburg, WI, in 2050. What would I want it to be like? You know what I DIDN'T say? I didn't say that I wish we were rid of all the people that have a different political yard sign than I have.

Letter: Is Theron truly the ‘law and order’ candidate?

Republican Peter Theron, who thinks the third time will be the charm in an attempt to unseat District 2 U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan (D), said in a recent interview with Wisconsin Public Radio that he’s the “law and order” candidate.

Letter: Should United States expand socialism?

Our senior citizens, women and men who work two jobs, store clerks, industrial employees, skilled factory workers, farmers, business persons, all professionals and others who consider themselves free people, will be severely taxed and economically enslaved by dictates in support of a socialist agenda as proposed by the Democratic-Socialist candi
