Recently, the independent polling and research firm Gallup published its annual study measuring the opinions Americans hold about various U.S. business and industry sectors. This year, for the first time in the 20 years that Gallup has done the study, farming and agriculture topped the list with a 69 percent positive rating.
We have lived in a golden world for the last week. The trees are waving us into winter with a grand celebration of color. I think the colors this year are better than I have ever seen. We drove along South Lake Road at the southern edge of Devil's Lake today and it had the magical feel of Lothlorien from “The Lord of the Rings.”
