Next mobile pantry is Jan. 22

Sacred Heart’s next mobile pantry will be held Jan. 22.

It will begin at 4 p.m. in the Reedsburg VFW parking lot.

Distribution will continue while supplies last.

This is a drive-through-only event. Remain in your vehicle and volunteers will bring food to place in your trunk.

Anyone who needs food is welcome.

On the Same Page: Mingle and Muse at Reedsburg Public Library

The Library’s new Mingle and Muse program will have its inaugural session this Monday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. Facilitated by Assistant Library Director Anne Howe, the program is a new opportunity for adults to get together weekly to discuss a topic or participate in an activity in a relaxed atmosphere. No registration is required.

Two familiar faces plan to stay on the Board of Education through the School District of Reedsburg.

Incumbents Heather Westphal and Gary Woolever have filed paperwork to run again this spring for their respective seats. Both will be uncontested.

Two sitting aldermen will return to their seats on Reedsburg Common Council this year.

Phil Peterson and Jason Schulte both filed paperwork to seek another term.

Peterson represents District 3. He also serves as council president.

Schulte represents District 2.

Reedsburg Ambulance hosts blood drive

Reedsburg Ambulance will hold its next Heroes for Life Blood Drive on Jan. 30.

It will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Ambulance facility training room, 230 Railroad St.

This will be an ImpactLife drive.

All blood types are needed and welcome.
