I am getting tired of fishing those beetles out of my toilet. I don't even like them. They are Asian ladybird beetles. They are not native to this country. And, like as not, they bite me when they meet me. But when I see them desperately treading water, trying not to drown, I have to respect the life force in them and grab the toilet brush.
