Rodney “Rod” A. Peterson, age 72, passed away peacefully at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie on Mar. 12, 2020.  He was born in Dodgeville on Dec. 10, 1947 to the late Darvin and Anne (Hendrickson) Peterson.  Rod graduated from Sauk Prairie High School; class of 1966.  He was united in marriage to Mary Jo Zajicek on Nov. 5, 1977 at St.

Jacob Michael Statz age 29 of Mazomanie, Wisconsin, beloved by many, died Sunday, March 15th, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Jacob was a charismatic free spirit, but regrettably lost his battle with addiction.  Jacob was born August 20th, 1990 in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School in 2008.

Ruth Ann Ziegler, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Roxbury surrounded by her family on Mar. 4, 2020.  She was born at home in Waunakee, on Feb. 12, 1939 to the late Millard and Charlotte (Beck) Woodburn.  Ruth attended Waunakee High School; class of 1957.   She was united in marriage to Gary Ziegler on Aug. 1, 1964 at St.

Marceil Louise Tooley, long-time Scarsdale, New York resident and wife of former Scarsdale Village Manager Lowell Tooley, passed away at home on Valentine’s Day. She was 94 years old. Marceil was born on April 10, 1925 to Webster and Ruth Sprecher in the unincorporated hamlet of Witwen, Wisconsin.

Lily A. (Crary) Lammers, age 86 of Baraboo and formerly of Spring Green, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the St.

Fullerton, CA--Marian (Russell) Burke of Fullerton, CA passed away at her home on Thursday, February 20, 2020.  She was born on March 11, 1932, to Clayton Myrle Russell & Edna (Berg) Russell.  She graduated from Prairie du Sac High School in 1950.  She was employed by the Federal Government in Madison WI & White Sands Proving Ground in New Mexico. 

Evelyn Roessler (nee Hodgson), age 79, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at UW Hospital in Madison. Evelyn was born on July 30, 1940

PRAIRIE DU SAC - Donald Thomas Nesvacil, age 82, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020. He was born on April 3, 1937, to Ed and Grace Nesvacil of Mazomanie. Don loved going on trips, especially when boating was involved, and he enjoyed gambling when he had the chance. 

BLACK EARTH- Dean M. Lucey, age 92, of Black Earth passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020. He was born on June 15, 1927, in Mazomanie and was the son of Wilfred and Coletta (Hawley) Lucey. 

Wisconsin Dells) Vernagene  (Genie)  Doering Sawyer, age 84, passed away on Feb.10, 2020.  She was  born  on April 24, 1935 in Marshfield, WI. to Elston “Al” and Pearl Doering. The family moved to Prairie du Sac in 1951 and she graduated  from Prairie du Sac High School in 1953. Gene married Al Sawyer, an Air force recruit, in 1954.
