Arthur A. Phetteplace

Arthur A. Phetteplace age 83 of Dodgeville passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his residence following a illness.  He was born on March 15, 1943 the son of Robert and Hazel (Johnson) Phetteplace of Spring Green, WI. He was married on October 10, 1985 to the former Linda Shaw. Arthur graduated from Spring Green High School. Arthur enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and green frosting. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Linda Phetteplace; children, Scott (Tina) Phetteplace, Lisa (Tina) McAdams, James Phetteplace, John (Susan) Polkinghorn, Shawna (Andy) Fromfeld, Erin (Tony) Smith, Suzie (Keith) Jacobs; several grandchildren, 2 brothers, Robert and Daniel and one sister, Linda. He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers, Vincent and David and his grandson, Lee Arthur. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green, WI with burial in the Button Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Arthur’s name to the River Valley Trap Team.
