City of Reedsburg seeks poll workers
Poll workers are needed for the Nov. 3 Election.
The City of Reedsburg seeks people to work from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to the end of the night. Participants may work both shifts, if they want.
Polls workers are paid and trained.
To be a poll worker, a person must be an adult citizen of the U.S. who has lived in this election district for 28 consecutive days, and not be disqualified to vote. Workers must also be able to read and write fluently in English and not be a candidate for any office to be voted on at that polling place during that election.
Workers check in voters, help people register to vote, check photo IDs and process absentee ballots.
Those who are interested should contact City Clerk/Treasurer and Finance Director Jacob Crosetto at jcrosetto@ci.reedsburg.wi.us or Deputy City Clerk Julie Strutz at jstrutz@ci.reedsburg.wi.us/. Be sure to put “Poll Worker Applicant” in the subject line and include contact information and a few words about why you want to be a poll worker.
