Letter: Dictator for more than a day

Donald Trump said he would be a dictator: “Only on Day-One.” For most, day-one means 24 hours. Not so with Trump. We are now over three weeks into his promised dictatorship with no letup in his indiscriminate dictatorial decrees. Those who paid attention in history class know that dictators never leave until they are forced to.

Letter: Baldwin, Pocan vote against Laken Riley Act

On January 29, 2025 President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law. This legislation is named after 26 year old nursing student, Laken Riley, who was brutally raped and killed by an illegal immigrant when she went out for a jog on February 22, 2024.
